Your Role
- Design and support building electrical systems, including power distribution, emergency and standby power, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.
- Apply energy efficiency and sustainability standards within project teams and technical environments.
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Provide technical support to project managers and design teams.
- Perform design calculations and construction cost estimates.
- Coordinate site follow-up, monitor construction activities, and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary electrical design work to meet client requirements, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate technical, contractual, and financial project activities with clients and project directors.
- Assess risks and propose strategies to support project success.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
- At least five years of relevant building electrical engineering experience in a consulting engineering firm.
- Relevant project coordination experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.
Compensation
- Expected compensation is $90,000 to $130,000 annually, with offers based on skills, experience, potential impact, and market factors.
