Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Dubai-based construction company.
The ideal candidate must have 8+ years of proven experience in the Dubai construction industry, with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage electrical works from planning through execution and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage electrical works at construction sites in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, architectural, mechanical, and MEP teams.
- Monitor site activities, manpower, materials, and work progress.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with project specifications, approved standards, and applicable Dubai/UAE requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
- Conduct inspections and ensure quality of electrical installations.
- Identify and resolve technical and site-related electrical issues.
- Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and technical reports.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure electrical works are completed within agreed timelines.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain proper project documentation and provide regular progress updates to management.
