Responsibilities
- Design of power transformers up to 50 MVA, 132 kV class.
- Preparation of electrical design calculations and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Preparation of customer technical submittals.
- Review and verification of manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
- Coordination with Sales, Purchase, Production, QA, Suppliers, and Customers.
- Ensure compliance with IEC and ANSI standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in power transformer electrical design
- Experience in disc winding, foil winding, CTC conductors
- Experience with hermetically sealed & conservator type transformers
- Experience with On Load Tap Changer (OLTC)
- Strong knowledge of short circuit calculations, cooling calculations, impulse & loading calculations
- Working knowledge of IEC and ANSI standards
- Proficiency in DesDT / iTRACS or equivalent transformer design software
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work with cross functional teams

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design of power transformers up to 50 MVA, 132 kV class.

Technical Requirements

- Awareness of: ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, Industrial safety practices.

- Ability to work with cross functional teams.
- Good supervision and technical decision making ability.
