Job Overview

  • We are looking for experienced Safety / EHS Engineers for high voltage transmission line and substation projects in the UAE.
  • Candidates with prior approvals or direct experience with DEWA, TRANSCO, or TAQA will be given preference.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical) with regular college is must
  • NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory)
  • 5–10 years of proven experience in EHS roles
  • Hands on experience in Overhead Transmission Lines (220kV / 400kV / 765kV) and/or Substation Projects
  • Prior DEWA / TRANSCO / TAQA approval or work experience is Must
  • Valid passport with at least 9 months validity
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct HSE inductions and awareness sessions for all site personnel
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE and welfare plans
  • Perform routine site inspections and lead incident investigations
  • Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Work Method Statements (WMS), and risk assessments
  • Promote a safety first culture and ensure all works are carried out in line with company HSE policies
  • Provide reports and documentation related to safety performance and site compliance
