Responsibilities
- Design of power transformers up to 50 MVA, 132 kV class
- Preparation of electrical design calculations and Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Preparation of customer technical submittals
- Review and verification of manufacturing and fabrication drawings
- Coordination with Sales, Purchase, Production, QA, Suppliers, and Customers
- Ensure compliance with IEC and ANSI standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in power transformer electrical design
- Experience in disc winding, foil winding, CTC conductors
- Experience in hermetically sealed and conservator type transformers
- Experience with On Load Tap Changer (OLTC)
- Strong knowledge of short circuit calculations, cooling calculations, impulse and loading calculations
- Working knowledge of IEC and ANSI standards
- Proficiency in DesDT / iTRACS or equivalent transformer design software

Job Overview

- Awareness of: ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, Industrial safety practices
