About the Role
A confidential company is seeking an Electrical CAD Draftsman for power and energy projects in Abu Dhabi. You will prepare detailed electrical drawings including SLD, schematics, cable routing, and lighting layouts.

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings for power and utility projects
- Draft Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Schematics, Cable Routing Drawings, Earthing Layouts, Lighting Layouts, and Electrical Equipment Layouts
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and as built drawings
- Coordinate drawings with Electrical Engineers, BIM Engineers, Civil Engineers, and Project Teams
- Update drawings based on engineer comments and client requirements
- Maintain drawing standards and document control procedures
- Assist in preparing tender drawings and construction drawings
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and international standards
- Support the design team in substation, power plant, solar PV, and utility infrastructure projects
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Drafting Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman
- Experience in electrical infrastructure, substations, power plants, or utility projects is preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical drawings and engineering documentation
- AutoCAD (Mandatory)
- Revit (Preferred)
- Navisworks (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office

Required Qualifications

- 11kV, 33kV, 132kV, or 220kV Substations.
- Solar PV Power Plants.
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Utility Infrastructure Projects.
- Power Distribution Networks.
