About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical, instrumentation and Telecom section of projects from start to completion and handover
- Act as primary point of contact with clients, providing technical expertise and addressing concerns
- Carry out detailed design of Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom Systems for various projects
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior engineers and designers
- Develop and review detailed designs, plans, calculations, and engineering deliverables
- Prepare engineering calculations such as Cable Sizing, Voltage Drop, Short Circuit, Lighting Design, Load Calculations
- Design and select Fire & Gas Detection/Suppression systems for modular buildings
- Prepare Site Survey Reports, Installation Method Statement, Design Basis Documents
- Review drawing outputs for conformance with project requirements and technical details
- Coordinate with other discipline engineers to ensure seamless integration
- Optimize engineering designs to minimize material usage and reduce costs
- Conduct site/fabrication yard visits to ensure installation according to design specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 12+ Years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Relux
- Good knowledge of international codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA, IEC, EN, BS
- Experience in Industrial and Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects is preferred
- Experience in modular building projects is an added advantage

Job Summary
- Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer shall apply their knowledge and technical expertise in engineering to design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom (EIT) Systems for Substations, RIE’s, Operator Shelter’s etc. in compliance with local and national regula
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical, instrumentation and Telecom section of the projects from start to completion and handover.
- Act as a primary point of contact with clients, providing technical expertise, addressing client concerns, and ensuring that project goals are met.
- Carry out detailed design of Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecom Systems for various projects.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior engineers and designers, mentoring them in design, general engineering principles and current industrial practices.
- Develop and review detailed designs, plans, calculations, etc. as necessary for each project.
- Review and prepare engineering deliverables list for projects in accordance with the scope of contract and ensure that all documentation is issued in accordance with the agreed project schedule.
- Preparation of engineering calculations such as Cable Sizing Calculations / Voltage Drop Calculations / Cable Tray Sizing Calculations / Short Circuit Calculations / Lighting Design Calculations / Load Calculations etc. required for each project.
- Work with the designers for preparation of Fire & Gas and Fire Suppression System Layouts / Schematics etc.
- Design and Selection of Fire & Gas Detection / Suppression systems for modular buildings as per Project Requirements and relevant international codes and standards.
- Preparation of Site Survey Reports, Installation Method Statement, Design Basis Documents etc. as necessary for each project.
- Develop engineering designs in accordance with the project scope and provide inputs to drafting team for preparation of drawings such as EIT equipment layouts drawings, Lighting Layouts, small power Layouts, Cable Tray Layouts etc. as per the project’s deliverables list.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including design changes, correspondence, and project records.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 12+ Years of Relevant experience in similar role
- Strong proficiency in MS Office / Auto Cad / Revit / Dialux/Relux
- Experience in Industrial and Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects is preferred.
- The candidate should be familiar with sector specific documentation requirements, applicable standards, and project compliance procedures.
- Experience in modular building projects will be considered an added advantage.
