Role Overview

Support electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities as an Electrical Assistant Technician.

Work across solar power, UPS, 415V electrical, and motor-operated valve systems.

Apply safe isolation, electrical safety, and LOTO procedures during maintenance activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with solar power systems, including panels, batteries, charge controllers, breakers, and junction boxes.
  • Hands-on experience with UPS systems, including batteries, chargers, rectifiers, inverters, and distribution panels.
  • Experience with 415V systems, electrical testing instruments, motor-operated valves, and cable installation activities.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and basic single-line diagrams.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety, LOTO, safe isolation, troubleshooting, and fault-finding practices.
  • Good spoken and written English communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Two to three years of relevant electrical maintenance experience is requested under the preferred experience section.
  • Oil and gas experience is preferred, and ADNOC site experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Use multimeters and clamp meters to measure voltage, current, resistance, continuity, and battery parameters.
  • Perform cable laying, cable pulling, cable glanding, and cable termination.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot motor-operated valves and associated electrical components.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot solar power systems, including panels, batteries, charge controllers, breakers, and junction boxes.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot UPS systems, including batteries, chargers, rectifiers, inverters, and distribution panels.
  • Work on 415V electrical systems using isolation, de-energization verification, and safe work practices.
  • Use multimeters, clamp meters, and other electrical testing instruments to diagnose system conditions.
  • Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot motor-operated valves and associated electrical components.
  • Perform cable laying, pulling, glanding, and termination activities.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and basic single-line diagrams.
  • Apply electrical safety requirements, LOTO procedures, and safe isolation practices.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and communicate findings in English.
