General Purpose
Ensure environmental health and safety system requirements are established, implemented, and maintained in conformance with MillerKnoll EHS management systems and goals.
Provide EHS leadership, coaching, and technical support for corporate or facility-based assignments and projects.
Essential Functions
- Support consistent implementation of corporate EHS policies, procedures, and standards.
- Facilitate environmental, health, safety, and ergonomics objectives through site assignments and corporate initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Ontario OHSA, applicable regulations, federal and provincial requirements, internal standards, and industry best practices.
- Serve as the primary site liaison with MLITSD, WSIB, and other regulatory agencies.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and improve EHS and ergonomics policies, procedures, programs, and documentation.
- Maintain training, certification, incident, inspection, compliance, and other required records.
- Conduct incident investigations, identify root causes, and verify corrective actions.
- Coordinate training, orientations, toolbox talks, awareness campaigns, and certification tracking.
