General purpose

MillerKnoll is hiring an Associate Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce.

The role collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to understand needs and develop functionality and enhancements.

The work includes coding, development, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and resolving Salesforce usage issues.

The role supports MillerKnoll divisions globally and follows software development lifecycle and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Salesforce customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations.
  • Develop applications using Lightning Web Components, Lightning Experience, JavaScript, Apex, and related Salesforce technologies.
  • Ensure Salesforce availability and stability and provide on-call support for application issues.
  • Plan and analyze business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
  • Create testing and implementation plans, including user training, UAT, and documentation.
  • Stay current with Salesforce technologies, platform capabilities, standards, and best practices.

Required qualifications

  • Two to four years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce development and customization using Apex, LWC, Lightning Experience, Salesforce Flow, Visualforce, and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security, sharing, profiles, permission sets, workflows, case management, Experience Cloud, reports, and dashboards.
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, JSON, FTP, SOAP, REST, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, and systems analysis skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with legacy Salesforce technologies, Git, relational databases, or Salesforce-NetSuite integration.
  • Experience with Commerce Cloud, Zeta Platform, Dell Boomi, or AWS.
  • Experience working on an Agile development team, preferably using Scrum.

Working hours

  • The role works from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST or 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.
  • Employees may occasionally work a different shift during critical issues, releases, or migrations.

Workplace model

  • The work location is Bangalore, India.
  • Employees work from the office five days per week during the initial six-month probation period and then transition to a hybrid model.
