Job Description
Develop and administer facility Environmental, Health, and Safety programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
Support a location with fewer than 150 employees and lower safety and environmental complexity.
What You Will Do
- Lead the site EHS safety committee and participate on the plant Leadership Team.
- Develop and enhance the facility EHS Management System and manage EHS planning and performance improvement.
- Conduct inspections, assessments, monitoring, reporting, and follow-up on identified concerns.
- Coordinate compliance records, agency responses, permits, licenses, and required reports.
- Work with engineering on equipment and process changes to reduce safety hazards and environmental impact.
- Deliver EHS training and manage incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Promote a high-performance EHS culture and maintain policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
What You Need
- One to three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in EHS, engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience with process improvement, problem solving, and root cause analysis.
- Effective presentation and training abilities with strong oral and written communication.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills for cross-functional project execution.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to learn other software.
Compensation
- The expected starting salary is $98,000 to $122,500, with a full base-pay range of $98,000 to $147,000 depending on qualifications and location.
- The position may be eligible for an annual incentive plan and includes health and welfare benefits.
