- Review daily robotics news surfaced by the robotics news intelligence tool and identify high potential stories
- Define daily editorial priorities based on relevance, audience potential, SEO opportunity, social momentum, and creative strength
- Develop strong story angles, headlines, hooks, formats, and content briefs for articles, videos, newsletters, and social media
- Provide clear editorial direction, story priorities, creative angles, and content briefs to content production teams
- Monitor Google Trends, search behavior, social media platforms, industry conversations, and competitor coverage to identify emerging opportunities
- Use SEO, audience insights, analytics, and platform data to decide which topics should be produced and how they should be positioned
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in journalism, including meaningful editorial leadership experience
- Proven experience in editorial, content strategy, audience growth, SEO, or digital publishing role
- Strong track record of developing content that achieved significant reach, traffic, engagement, or viral performance
- Excellent writing, editing, headline, and storytelling skills
- Excellent understanding of SEO, Google Trends, search intent, social media dynamics, and digital distribution
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Role Overview
- We are looking for an exceptional Editor in Chief / Editorial Growth Lead to turn daily robotics news, search trends, and social signals into high performing content ideas for Robot24.com.
- Robot24.com is building the global leading news platform for robotics news.
- This is not a traditional newsroom management role. We are looking for someone who understands how digital attention works.
Key Responsibilities
- Review daily robotics news surfaced by our robotics news intelligence tool.
- Identify the most important, timely, and high potential stories from a large volume of daily news signals.
- Turn raw news, trend data, and market developments into clear content ideas for the production team.
- Define daily editorial priorities based on relevance, audience potential, SEO opportunity, social momentum, and creative strength.
- Develop strong story angles, headlines, hooks, formats, and content briefs for articles, videos, newsletters, and social media.
- Write, edit, and shape compelling editorial concepts that make robotics news accessible, engaging, and highly shareable.
- Work closely with all company teams responsible for content production, including editorial, video, social, design, audience, and production.
- Provide clear editorial direction, story priorities, creative angles, and content briefs to the teams producing content.
- Monitor Google Trends, search behavior, social media platforms, industry conversations, and competitor coverage to identify emerging opportunities.
- Use SEO, audience insights, analytics, and platform data to decide which topics should be produced and how they should be positioned.
- Spot stories before they become mainstream and translate complex robotics developments into accessible, engaging content ideas.
- Bring creativity, originality, and strong editorial taste to how stories are framed, titled, packaged, and distributed.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in journalism, including meaningful editorial leadership experience.
- Proven experience in an editorial, content strategy, audience growth, SEO, or digital publishing role.
- Strong track record of developing content that achieved significant reach, traffic, engagement, or viral performance.
- Experience working for a media company, digital publisher, content platform, startup, or growth driven company.
- Excellent writing, editing, headline, and storytelling skills.
- Strong creative instincts and the ability to turn technical or niche topics into compelling content ideas.
- Excellent understanding of SEO, Google Trends, search intent, social media dynamics, and digital distribution.
- Strong ability to identify which stories have audience potential and how to frame them for maximum impact.
- Excellent editorial judgment and a strong sense for timing, relevance, headlines, hooks, and storytelling.
- Experience using analytics, audience data, and performance insights to guide content decisions.
- Ability to turn complex technology topics into clear, engaging, and widely understandable content ideas.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with cross functional teams responsible for content production.
Preferred Experience
- Experience creating or leading content strategies that generated millions of views, visits, impressions, or engagements.
- Background in technology, robotics, science, business, startup, engineering, manufacturing, or innovation media.
- Experience working with AI tools, content intelligence systems, news monitoring tools, or trend discovery workflows.
- Experience developing content for multiple formats, including articles, short form video, newsletters, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or X.
- Strong understanding of how stories travel across search, social, newsletters, and digital communities.
- Experience scaling a content operation, media brand, or audience growth engine.
