Role Overview
A confidential Dubai organisation is appointing an Economic Acceleration Advisor to support strategic initiatives addressing sector-specific economic challenges.
The role delivers short, high-impact projects, typically through focused 100-day sprints.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and validate sector challenges through expert interviews and stakeholder discussions.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative information to define problems and scope projects.
- Benchmark local and international best practices, policies, and comparable solutions.
- Design commercially viable solutions and assess their feasibility.
- Present recommendations to senior stakeholders and secure alignment and buy-in.
- Support implementation and handover of solutions to business owners, with PMO support where required.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in consulting, economic policy, business analysis, strategy, or a related field.
- Experience with project scoping, structured problem-solving, strategic analysis, and solution design.
- Strong understanding of economic development, policy benchmarking, and business improvement methodologies.
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and securing buy-in for recommendations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.
- Experience in a leading management consultancy, Big Four, or MBB environment is highly desirable.
Contract
- The contract is for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Work Arrangement
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE, and is on-site.
