Role Overview
Oversee the Accounts Payable function across a diverse, multi-entity environment.
Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, financial controls, and governance.
Work with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and other stakeholders across businesses and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt and verification through approval, posting, and payment.
- Review invoices, supporting documents, approvals, accounting treatment, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations.
- Monitor AP ageing, outstanding liabilities, overdue payments, and disputed items and provide Finance reporting.
- Support AP activities across multiple entities, projects, and business units.
- Review expense allocations, cost-centre coding, account classifications, vendor onboarding, and supplier master data.
- Resolve purchase-order, invoice, payment, and banking-information issues with Procurement and business stakeholders.
- Support intercompany reconciliations and month-end and year-end close, including accruals, provisions, and balance-sheet schedules.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, delegation of authority, approval matrices, and internal financial controls.
- Prepare AP reports, reconciliations, ageing analysis, and other management information.
- Support internal and external audits and identify opportunities for process, control, automation, and reporting improvements.
