About the Role
St. Regis Downtown Dubai seeks an EBC Sales Manager to handle event documentation and coordination between sales, property departments, and customers. The role ensures seamless event execution from pre-event to post-event, focusing on up-selling and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with Sales, property departments and customer
- Ensure events progress seamlessly by following established procedures
- Greet customer during event phase and hand off to Event Operations team
- Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures
- Ensure billing accuracy and conduct bill reviews with clients
- Manage group room blocks and meeting space for average to large sized groups
- Identify operational challenges and develop solutions
- Act as liaison between field salesperson and customer throughout event process
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales process
- Solicit feedback from property departments to improve Event Planner’s experience
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; 1 2 years experience in event management or related professional area
- OR 2 year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in event management

Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or GED; experienced (1–2 years) in event management or related professional area.
- OR 2 year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in event management.

- Managing Event Logistics and Operations: Ensure events progress seamlessly, greet customers, adhere to standards, ensure billing accuracy, manage group room blocks, identify operational challenges, act as liaison, participate in site inspections, solicit feedback.
- Ensuring and Providing Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service, empower employees, set positive example, coordinate event details, follow up with customers, handle complaints, improve service.
- Leading Event Management Teams: Conduct formal pre and post event meetings, facilitate various meetings.
- Supporting and Coordinating with Sales and Marketing: Assist in sales process, up sell products and services, forecast revenue.
- Conducting Human Resources Activities: Review comment cards, observe service behaviors, assist in corrective action plans.
