Team Context
The Engineering team ensures that the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and infrastructure operate efficiently and safely.
The Engineering Supervisor reports to the Director of Engineering and works with engineering associates, vendors, and cross-functional departments.
Role Overview
The Engineering Supervisor supports engineering operations through administration, inventory control, vendor coordination, and maintenance planning.
The role contributes to departmental efficiency, operational performance, and the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement, receiving, and inventory control for engineering supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor vendor relationships, purchase orders, service agreements, and deliveries.
- Support preventive maintenance planning and track engineering work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, documentation, reports, and departmental files.
- Assist with departmental budgeting, financial reporting, accruals, and administrative processes.
- Supervise daily engineering assignments and support the team in meeting operational and safety standards.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in engineering administration, facilities coordination, procurement, or hotel operations is required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail is required.
- Experience with inventory management systems, reports, and administrative processes is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized management systems is required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, contractors, and vendors are required.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to operational excellence in hospitality is required.
