Role Overview

Customer-facing technical consulting role supporting adoption of cloud-based e-invoicing solutions.

Works across ERP systems, integrations, business processes, and e-invoicing compliance.

The role supports digital transformation projects and collaboration across ERP, integration, and e-invoicing teams.

Customer and Technical Consulting

  • Lead technical discovery and scoping sessions for customer e-invoicing requirements.
  • Understand B2B, B2G, B2C, accounts receivable, and accounts payable flows.
  • Support domestic, export, import, intercompany, and reverse-charge transactions.
  • Explain e-invoicing and compliance requirements to technical and business stakeholders.

ERP and Integration

  • Assess ERP environments and Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay process connections.
  • Define ERP-to-cloud integration approaches using APIs, HTTPS, SFTP, or web services.
  • Map data across XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI formats and identify transformation needs.
  • Define data flows for triggers, acknowledgements, validation, errors, retries, and monitoring.

Customer Delivery

  • Establish technical prerequisites and integration architecture with customer IT teams.
  • Coordinate security, authentication, certificates, IP allowlisting, and encryption requirements.
  • Support DEV, TEST, and PROD environment readiness.
  • Review mappings, interface specifications, and integration designs.
  • Act as technical contact for customer issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams.

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in ERP implementation and/or integration delivery.
  • Strong experience with SAP or Oracle ERP environments.
  • Hands-on experience integrating ERP systems with external or third-party platforms.
  • Good understanding of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Practical knowledge of APIs, HTTPS, SFTP, web services, middleware, XML, JSON, CSV, and EDI.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in business terms.
  • Proactive, independent approach with the ability to solve ambiguous problems.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in e-invoicing, tax compliance, or regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with SAP FI/SD/MM or Oracle Financials/SCM.
  • Background in solution consulting, implementation consulting, or technical advisory.
  • Understanding of international tax and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting global customers or multi-ERP environments.
