Responsibilities
- Assist the Utility Engineer in inspecting site duties related to streetlight, electrical, and telecommunication networks
- Maintain a detailed diary of daily work activities, issues, and resources used
- Attend Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and take appropriate action
- Monitor quality of works and assess site safety including health and environmental issues
- Prepare Surveillance Reports and Site Observation Reports for deficiencies
- Provide technical input to resolve discipline related issues on site
- Ensure project quality control procedures are used and monitored
- Coordinate works to ensure successful handover of the project
Requirements
- Experience in utility inspection and construction supervision
- Knowledge of streetlight, electrical, and telecommunication networks
- Ability to maintain detailed daily diaries and reports
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety standards

What You'll Be Doing
- Assist the Utility Engineer in performing inspecting the site duties related to the Streetlight, Electrical & Telecommunication networks, Asphalt Road Construction works and related furniture
- Maintain a detailed diary of the day's work activities, issues, work approved or rejected, hours of operation, labour and equipment used, etc.
- Attend to Work Inspection Request (WIR) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner
- Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues
- Prepare Surveillance Report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site
- Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site
- Prepare/complete the necessary documentation prior to inspection of the Works
- Keep, monitor and follow up as necessary and maintain complete record(s) concerning the execution of the works
- Ensure that the project quality control procedures are used for the construction supervision works
- Ensure site progress information is communicated regularly
- Coordinate the works to ensure successful hand over of the project
