About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide field HSE support and guidance to all drilling activities and drilling assets
- Assist Drilling Management in development and delivery of best in class Drilling Safety Management Process
- Ensure timely identification of HSE hazards, evaluation of risks, and development of effective tools to manage risks to ALARP
- Lead company and contractors team to deliver exemplary safety performance
- Demonstrate excellent safety leadership and behaviors
- Investigate incidents and implement learnings throughout operations team
- Carry out safety auditing as per audit matrix and coach team
- Participate in accident/incident investigations as requested
- Conduct training sessions and drills to maintain and increase staff competency
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree / Certificate in Health & Safety or demonstrated industry relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in HSE for Drilling/Workover within Oil & Gas
- Attested educational offshore medical
- OPITO approved T BOSIET / T HUET / H2S safety trainings

Primary Purpose of the Job
- The Drilling HSE Advisor provides field HSE support and guidance to all drilling activities and drilling assets. Responsible for day to day execution of Drilling HSE activities in accordance with assigned responsibilities and established performance targets.
Principal Accountabilities
- Offshore based.
- Assisting Drilling Management in development and delivery of best in class Drilling Safety Management Process.
- Ensure timely identification of HSE Hazards, evaluation of risks, and development of effective tools to manage risks to ALARP.
- Lead the company and contractors team to deliver exemplary safety performance.
- Demonstrate excellent safety leadership and behaviors.
- Foster a safe culture.
- Align personal objectives for direct reports with business unit objectives and HSE Plan.
- Be aware of all platform major Safety risks (SCRA’s) and ongoing operational risks (ORA’s).
- Investigate incidents and implement learnings throughout operations team.
- Carry out Safety Auditing as per audit matrix and coach team.
- Engage team in meetings and follow up outstanding actions.
- Report all accidents/near misses and investigate incidents.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
- Diploma / Degree / Certificate in Health & Safety or demonstrated industry relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HSE for Drilling/Workover within Oil & Gas.
Required to Have
- Attested educational offshore medical.
- Safety trainings / OPITO approved T BOSIET / T HUET / H2S.
