About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details using AutoCAD
- Develop drawing packages for manufacturing and site teams based on approved designs
- Ensure all drawings are dimensionally accurate and comply with project specifications
- Incorporate material specifications, hardware details, and joinery construction methods into drawings
- Update drawings promptly based on design changes, RFIs, and site feedback
- Coordinate with designers, project managers, and site engineers to resolve drawing related queries
- Maintain an organised filing system for all project drawings and revisions
- Prepare as built drawings upon project completion
- Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency
- Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, or Interior Design
- Minimum 2 4 years of experience in drafting for joinery, fitout, or construction projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Knowledge of joinery materials, construction methods, and hardware
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Role Purpose

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
