Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings for construction, fit-out, MEP, civil, or architectural projects
- Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, coordination drawings, and submission drawings
- Interpret IFC, tender, and technical drawings
- Coordinate with engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Incorporate drawing revisions and consultant comments
- Conduct site measurements when required
- Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and project documentation
- Support quantity take-offs and basic material estimation
Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Drafting, Civil, Mechanical, Architectural, or related field
- 4–8+ years of drafting experience, preferably in UAE projects
- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Good knowledge of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and drawing coordination
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings independently
- MS Office knowledge, especially Excel
Preferred Skills
- UAE experience in fit-out, joinery, MEP, façade, civil, or building projects
- Revit / BIM exposure
- Knowledge of authority submissions and BOQ mark-ups
