Role Overview
Define, govern, and evolve the Human Resources domain architecture across the enterprise.
Ensure the HR technology landscape is coherent, secure, and scalable while supporting a consistent employee experience and decentralized business needs.
The role operates within Enterprise Architecture and reports to the Senior Domain Architect for Functional Domains.
Work Model
- The work model is hybrid.
Accountabilities
- Define HR domain architecture and target state, including HR capability mapping.
- Establish HR architecture principles and guardrails.
- Govern HR integration and data architecture and data distribution patterns.
- Conduct solution architecture reviews and assessments.
- Maintain an HR domain roadmap aligned with enterprise and HR technology roadmaps.
- Maintain architecture documentation in enterprise architecture tools such as Ardoq.
- Serve as the end-to-end architect for the Workday landscape.
- Review the Workday footprint for overlap, gaps, consolidation, and improved use of native Workday capabilities.
- Track Workday modules and releases to advise how new features can complement the landscape.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in architecture or senior HR technology roles.
- Strong experience in HR systems and platforms such as Workday.
- Experience with HR integrations covering identity, payroll, and finance.
- Understanding of privacy and regulatory considerations for HR data.
- Experience with HR processes and operating models.
- Experience in large, decentralized, or federated enterprises.
- Experience with functional capability modeling, SaaS and packaged application landscapes, and cross-domain dependency management.
- Strong executive communication and storytelling skills.
