• This role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for canine welfare, experience Training dogs of varying sizes and temperaments, and a professional, discreet approach suited to a high-end private environment.
• You will be responsible for the training, daily care, safe handling of the Dogs, ensuring exceptional standards of welfare, safety, and presentation at all times.
• This position is open to applicants from all backgrounds and is gender neutral.
• Key Responsibilities for Private Hospitality Dog Trainer/ Handler Role
• Training of all dogs
• Safely handle and control dogs within the private residence, estate grounds, and at external locations, ensuring public safety and animal welfare.
• Provide daily care including feeding, grooming, structured exercise, enrichment activities, and monitoring of health and behaviour.
• Support and reinforce structured training programmes under the guidance of senior trainers or behaviour specialists where required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of behaviour, health observations, feeding schedules, and training progress.
• Ensure kennels, living areas, transport crates, and equipment are maintained to high hygiene and operational standards.
• Coordinate veterinary appointments, vaccinations, grooming visits, and specialist care as required, ensuring treatments are administered correctly.
• Prepare dogs for travel, guest interaction, or formal household occasions when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with household staff and estate management to meet operational needs, including flexibility for weekends and occasional evenings.
