About the Role
Zararah General Transporting seeks a detail-oriented Document Controller to manage documentation, records, and compliance paperwork for fleet operations in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize all company and fleet related documents (vehicle registrations, insurance papers, permits, licenses, maintenance records, driver documents, etc.)
- Ensure all documents are up to date, properly filed, and easily retrievable (digital and hard copy)
- Track expiry dates for vehicle registrations, insurance policies, driver licenses, and permits, and follow up on renewals
- Coordinate with clients, government authorities, and internal departments (Operations, HR, Fleet) to collect and submit required paperwork
- Prepare and maintain contracts, rental agreements, and client documentation
- Ensure documentation complies with company policies and relevant oil & gas / transportation regulations
- Maintain document control logs and generate reports for management
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate, organized records
- Manage both physical archives and electronic document management systems (EDMS)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Records Management, or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in transportation, logistics, or oil & gas
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and document management systems
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple document types and deadlines simultaneously
- Knowledge of vehicle/fleet documentation and permits is a plus
