- Coordinate flow of documents between project operations, engineering, construction team, or other department groups
- Implement document/data management solutions with focus on document control and records management
- Process document types through procedural steps ensuring compliance with document control requirements
- Receive, track, and monitor documents using standard document management programs
- Maintain data distribution system and schedule for assigned project
- Verify retention requirements, arrange document cataloging, packing, long term storage, or disposal at closeout
- Assist junior document control staff and serve as liaison between support group, home office, and field personnel
- Prepare needed reports
Requirements
- Degree in MIS / BA or related discipline
- Minimum 8+ years experience in construction projects
- Management experience across multi disciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills in English
- Proficiency in ACONEX or similar EDMS software
- Proficient keyboard skills and working knowledge of MS Windows and related software
- Aconex certification preferred
- Experience with significant PM/CM contracts advantageous

Job Description
- Parsons is looking for a Document Controller to join the team.
- Coordinates the flow of documents between project operations, engineering disciplines, construction team, or other department groups.
- Knowledge of document control work processes and electronic systems used to manage documentation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Selects personnel for project assignments to fulfill client and project requirements.
- Implements document/data management solutions with a primary focus on document control and records management.
- Processes one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with well defined procedures and guidelines.
- Receives, tracks, and monitors documents using standard document management programs.
- Keeps abreast of department technologies, techniques, and services.
- Provides assistance to users in capturing and locating electronic information.
- Maintains an established data distribution system and schedule for the assigned project.
- Verifies retention requirements, arranges document cataloging, packing, and long term storage, or disposal.
- Assists junior document control staff to ensure effective implementation of project specific procedures.
- Proficient keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related software is required.
- Prepare the needed reports.
- Experienced in using ACONEX and other similar EDMS software.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Degree in MIS / BA or related discipline with minimum +8 years’ experience in construction projects.
- Advantageous to have extensive experience of significant PM/CM contracts.
- Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
- Aconex certified or other software is preferred.
