The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling all project documentation in accordance with company procedures.
The role ensures accurate document flow, proper filing, and timely distribution of technical and project-related documents to all relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any related field
- Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience as Document Controller (Construction/Landscape preferred)
- Strong knowledge of document control systems and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and document management software
- Good communication and organizational skills
Job Description
- Manage and maintain all project documents including drawings, submittals, RFIs, correspondences, and reports
- Ensure proper document numbering, filing, and version control
- Distribute documents to consultants, clients, and internal teams as required
- Maintain updated logs for submittals, approvals, and correspondence
- Track document status and ensure timely follow-up for approvals
- Ensure all documentation complies with project and company standards
- Assist project teams in retrieving and managing technical documents
- Support audits by providing required documentation and records
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all project documentation
