Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced **Document Controller** with a solid background in the **UAE construction sector**.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all technical and project documentation in accordance with company procedures and client requirements, ensuring proper document control and compliance with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control the flow of project documents (e.g., drawings, reports, submittals, correspondences).
  • Set up and maintain an organized filing system (both electronic and hard copies) for easy retrieval.
  • Ensure that all documentation complies with company and client standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to track document submissions and approvals.
  • Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders and ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Maintain logs and registers for incoming/outgoing documents, transmittals, RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.
  • Assist in audits and quality management system compliance (ISO 9001 preferred).
  • Update document templates and support document formatting when required.
  • Maintain document confidentiality and access control.
  • Use Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, Procore, Primavera Contract Manager, or similar platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Document Controller role within the UAE construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documentation processes and project lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology and standard documentation.
  • Proficiency in EDMS tools (e.g., Aconex, Primavera, SharePoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
