Job Purpose
- The Diploma in Nuclear Technology (DNT) is an entry level program providing initial training for UAE National high school graduates to join the UAE Peaceful Nuclear Energy Program as a local operator or maintenance technician at the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant.
- Local operator and Maintenance Technician are important roles to ensure safe operation and maintenance of the Barakah Plant.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
- As a UAE National DNT trainee, you will develop knowledge and understanding about science and engineering fundamentals, nuclear power plant systems and processes.
- You will also undertake practical training in the workplace to meet the requirements of a local operator or maintenance technician.
- The DNT is 24 months in duration and is delivered at HQ in Abu Dhabi and at the Barakah Plant.
- On completion, local operators and maintenance technicians are permanently located at the Barakah Plant.
Qualifications
- High School Certificate grade 70% as minimum
- IELTS Minimum 5.5 (Emsat not accepted)

- Completed National Military Service (no exemptions permitted)
