The hourly rate for this position is $34.66 per hour.
The individual in this role will provide support for and play a coordinating role for the ALC's Election Protection and other voting rights advocacy this fall. The Temporary Project Coordinator will handle administration and logistics for poll monitoring, including correspondence and management of volunteers, polling place assignments, and related components; track and provide support for partner organizations, complete data analysis and research assignments in support of DNI projects, and other admin and support roles related to ALC’s democracy defense work. The Temporary Project Coordinator will work closely with DNI’s Senior Project Coordinator and will be supervised by the DNI Director.

Since 1972, ALC has fought for access to affordable housing in San Francisco’s Chinatown, litigated high-profile civil rights cases, advocated for the passage of landmark policy changes, and provided an array of services, including community education, advocacy, and direct client representation to further the rights of low-income immigrants and communities of color, across our Housing Rights, Workers’ Rights, Immigrant Justice, and National Democracy Initiative programs, and other emerging areas of law.
