Responsibilities
- Provide clinical, education, research, and executive management leadership in Clinical Biochemistry
- Work with Sidra executive team to develop and deliver strategy and business plans
- Manage resources and performance in Clinical Biochemistry division
- Integrate research and education priorities into a program of excellent clinical service delivery
- Oversee specialized investigation and diagnosis of pediatric and/or maternal disease in clinical chemistry
- Manage diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for routine, complex, and complicated biochemical tests for pediatric patients
- Provide consultations and case management where appropriate
- Manage other associated clinical and academic activities
Requirements
- Senior clinical and managerial leadership experience in Clinical Biochemistry
- Ability to develop and deliver strategy and business plans
- Accountability for resources and performance in Clinical Biochemistry division
- Expertise in specialized investigation and diagnosis of pediatric and/or maternal disease in clinical chemistry
- Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for routine, complex, and complicated biochemical tests
- Ability to integrate research and education priorities into clinical service delivery

Job Summary
- Reporting to the Chair Pathology, the Division Chief/Head provides clinical, education, research and executive management leadership in Clinical Biochemistry.
- The role is a clinical and managerial leader working with the Sidra executive team to develop and deliver strategy and business plans.
- Accountable for resources and performance in Clinical Biochemistry division and integrates research and education priorities into clinical service delivery.
