What does the job look like?
We are seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to lead warehouse and storage operations at our Heathwood site. This role combines operational leadership, customer engagement and commercial accountability, with additional complexity across inventory management, export packing and import/export documentation requirements. Key areas:
Lead warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective receiving, storage, picking and dispatch activities.
Manage inventory, export packing and associated documentation processes to support customer requirements.
Deliver customer service outcomes and build strong partnerships with key customer stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes, procedures and operational performance.
Manage site financial performance, including P&L accountability, budget oversight and resource planning.
Coach, mentor and develop operational leaders while supporting succession planning and team capability growth.
Are you the one?
You are an experienced logistics leader with a strong background in third-party logistics, inventory management and customer-focused warehouse operations. Exposure to import/export environments, product handling compliance requirements and food-related operations will be highly regarded. You can demonstrate:
Several years' experience leading third-party logistics or warehousing operations.
Strong inventory management and warehouse systems capability.
Exposure to import/export operations, export packing or related documentation processes.
Experience managing customer relationships within a complex operational environment.
Understanding of food safety, quality and compliance requirements within a warehouse environment.
Experience leading, coaching and developing operational leaders and succession talent.
