Hempel is seeking a hands-on Distribution Center Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, safe material handling, and efficient order fulfillment.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatch
- Supervise loading/unloading and scheduling of carriers (truckload, LTL, containers, small packages)
- Expedite orders and coordinate inbound freight to avoid production interruptions and ensure customer satisfaction
- Interface closely with Sales Order Processing, material planners, and inventory teams
- Ensure physical inventory accuracy and proper location/bin management
- Conduct cycle counts and supports monthly inventory reporting
- Perform audits on inbound/outbound shipments and ensure correct PO matching (3 way match)
- Monitor inventory levels, including identification and removal of over age/obsolete materials
- Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, on time delivery, and productivity rates
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse practices, adhering to company standards (including 5S)
- Support and implement QMS procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Troubleshoot operational issues including scheduling, batch assignments, and staffing gaps
