The TransX Group of Companies has an exciting opportunity for a Dispatch – Level 2 to join the Operations Department in our BC facility. This position is responsible for dispatching and arriving trips to TMW. The Dispatcher is also responsible for effective management and support of an assigned fleet of drivers and trucks. This position will focus on operational excellence and superior customer service, ensuring their fleet operates efficiently as a team in support of our high standards for driver success and customer service performance. Confirm daily ready times/weekly resets with designated fleet.
Discuss load requirements with drivers to ensure on time service.
Assist drivers in solving all on the road problems as they arise.

Log customer shipping schedules and complains
Maintain any details regarding route changes
If necessary, keep records of driver training sessions
Create billing and invoice documents for shipments
Ensuring that drivers receive any necessary documents before making a pickup
Invoice customers for payment of shipment pickups and handle any issues regarding charged for these services.
Ability to use dispatch software
High School Diploma
Post- Secondary Education- Preferred
Minimum 2 years of dispatch experience in TL/LTL
Experience with programs such as Excel and TMW
Logistics / Supply Chain experience an asset
Excellent communication skills
Capable of multi-tasking with keen ability to prioritize
Able to make decisions with limited supervision
Analytical thinking, Strong organizational and priority management skills.
Computer literate & Proficient
Able to accurately identify and proactively make appropriate suggestions to resolve any problems
Knowledge of the trucking industry and associated rules and regulations (ex. Hours of service regulations)
