About the Team

  • Primary objective: manage Solution Consulting operations and teams to support Workday revenue targets achievement, maintain high customer satisfaction and strong motivation of employees.
  • Key member of senior leadership team, contributes to achieving Workday main missions and objectives such as deal support, demand management, yearly planning, Solution Consulting enablement.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Vision and goal setting: Set organization vision and goals for Solution Consulting team ensuring alignment with Sales, Marketing, Value Management.
  • Planning: Contribute to GTM plan and develop Solution Consulting plan (resources, skills, processes) aligned with budget and productivity objectives.
  • Deal support: Develop organization focused on best practices around business value based selling, customer understanding, simplified demonstrations, deal management.
  • Profitable revenue growth: Drive proactive management of resources and costs to maximize quality of support and win rate.
  • People Management: Develop trust and motivation, ensure fair treatment, provide performance feedback, retain and develop talent.
  • Solution and industry excellence: Foster collaboration and development specific to solution and industry knowledge.
  • Demand Management: Ensure Solution Consulting active participation in DM planning and activities to increase quality pipeline generation.

About You

  • 10+ years in Solution Consulting
  • 5+ years of Solution Consulting / sales management experience
  • Leadership, drive for results and 'can do' attitude
  • Experience in people management, performance management, sales and Solution Consulting processes, complex sales management and innovation selling
  • Experience within business applications marketplace, preferably ERP, Financials or HCM related
  • Demonstrable results in leading teams within team based sales environments
  • High level of accountability in a high growth environment
  • Proven as an innovative thinker, self starter, fast learner, and agent of change
