- As our Director of Product, your mission will be to position Payfuture as the leading payments platform across emerging markets by shaping product strategy, building scalable product capabilities, and leading high-performing product teams that deliver measurable commercial impact.
- You will own the vision, roadmap, and execution across Payfuture’s core payments, EMI, and cross-border solutions while driving innovation that differentiates us in highly competitive global markets.

- What you’ll be responsible for,
Product Vision, Strategy & Leadership
- Define and lead Payfuture’s global product vision across gateway, cross-border corridors, FX, settlement, and net-off solutions.
- Build and execute a multi-year product strategy aligned with company growth objectives and revenue targets.
- Lead product prioritisation across multiple business lines, balancing customer value, commercial opportunity, operational scalability, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish a product operating framework that enables rapid execution, clear accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product organisation.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
- Continuously benchmark Payfuture against global and regional competitors across payments, acquiring, FX, and remittance solutions.
- Identify whitespace opportunities in corridors, compliance, settlement, onboarding, and merchant experience.
- Translate market insights into strategic product investments and differentiated capabilities.
- Produce executive-level competitive insights and strategic recommendations for leadership, sales, and commercial teams.
Merchant & Customer-Centric Innovation
- Partner directly with enterprise merchants, financial institutions, and strategic partners to understand evolving market needs.
- Drive the development of merchant-first products that improve onboarding speed, simplify integrations, reduce compliance friction, and unlock new payment corridors.
- Champion customer discovery, feedback loops, and product analytics to ensure solutions drive measurable customer and business outcomes.
- Build scalable API-first products and platform capabilities that improve developer experience and merchant adoption.
Product Execution & Delivery
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and business case development through launch, adoption, and optimisation.
- Ensure PRDs, technical specifications, and product requirements incorporate compliance, risk, finance, and operational considerations.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Finance to deliver secure, scalable, and regulator-ready products.
- Drive operational excellence in product delivery with clear KPIs, prioritisation frameworks, and roadmap governance.
- Work with AI and data teams to automate integrations, compliance workflows, onboarding, and risk reviews.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to support enterprise merchant acquisition and strategic deals.
- Align product investments with revenue growth, corridor profitability, merchant ROI, and long-term platform scalability.
- Collaborate with Compliance and AML teams to ensure products are regulator-proof by design.
- Present product strategy, roadmap progress, and business impact to executive leadership and stakeholders.

- Have 8–12+ years of experience in product management within fintech, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure.
- Have significant leadership experience managing and scaling product teams in high-growth environments.
- Possess deep expertise in cross-border payments, FX, remittance, merchant acquiring, or embedded finance.
- Have a strong track record of defining product strategy and delivering products that achieve enterprise adoption and commercial success.
- Are commercially minded and able to connect product decisions to revenue, profitability, corridor expansion, and customer ROI.
- Are highly analytical, customer-focused, and execution-oriented.
- Are comfortable operating across global and emerging markets including India, Africa, LatAm, and MENA.
- Thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments where strategic thinking and hands-on execution are equally important.
- Have excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
