- Support department heads in managing budgets and understanding financial performance
- Evaluate cost structures and identify opportunities for efficiency and expense control
- Partner with leadership on long range planning, capital investments, and business strategy
- Support financial aspects of construction, renovation, and capital projects, including budgeting, cash flow, and ROI analysis
Requirements
- Minimum 5 10 years of progressive experience in a Director of Finance or equivalent senior financial leadership role at a large resort or hospitality property within the Middle East
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or professional certification (CA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial compliance, regulatory requirements, and audit management
- Proven experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a complex operational environment
- Strong proficiency in financial systems, accounting software, and data analysis tools
- Excellent understanding of internal controls, risk management, and financial governance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting teams while fostering a culture of accountability and accuracy
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to senior leadership and ownership

Company Description
- Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345 key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark.
- The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf.
- Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination.
- One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.
Key Responsibilities

- Prior experience supporting strategic planning and long range financial forecasting initiatives
