About the Role

  • A leading integrated marketing and communications agency operating across the GCC is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Director to lead new business acquisition, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the agency's business development strategy across the GCC.
  • Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities across key sectors including FMCG, Retail, Government, Hospitality, Real Estate, Automotive, Technology, and Telecommunications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior marketing, procurement, and C suite stakeholders.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, pitching, negotiation, and closure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Creative, Digital, PR, Events, and Production to develop winning solutions for clients.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with agencies, brands, and industry stakeholders.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and reporting to management.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, networking forums, and business meetings.
  • Drive revenue growth while ensuring profitability targets are achieved.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership within a marketing agency, advertising agency, media agency, PR agency, events company, or related industry.
  • Proven track record of generating and closing high value accounts and retainers.
  • Strong network within UAE and/or Saudi Arabia markets.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior decision makers and procurement teams.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing services including digital, creative, media, PR, experiential marketing, events, and shopper marketing.
  • Self driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and growth.
