About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Networking to lead network design strategy for hyperscale and enterprise data center developments. Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the overall networking strategy for data center and digital infrastructure projects
- Define technical standards, design guidelines, and governance frameworks for network architecture
- Lead the design and implementation planning of spine leaf architectures, core/aggregation/access networks, SDN, WAN/internet/cloud connectivity, network security zoning, and disaster recovery frameworks
- Ensure network designs meet scalability, reliability, performance, and cybersecurity requirements
- Provide technical leadership during project execution, testing, commissioning, and operational handover
- Support budgeting, cost optimization, and lifecycle planning initiatives
- Build and mentor high performing technical networking teams
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in networking and digital infrastructure design
- Minimum 7+ years in leadership roles managing large scale enterprise or hyperscale data center projects
- Strong experience in data center networking, cloud connectivity, SDN technologies, enterprise network architecture, telecom and ISP integration, and cybersecurity aligned network design
- Experience working with hyperscale operators, colocation providers, or mission critical environments is highly preferred
- Preferred certifications: CCIE/CCNP, JNCIE/JNCIP, AWS Advanced Networking, CISSP, CDCP/CDCS

Overview
- The Director – Networking is responsible for leading the end to end network design strategy for hyperscale and enterprise data center developments across Damac Digital’s portfolio.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and lead the overall networking strategy for data center and digital infrastructure projects.
- Define technical standards, design guidelines, and governance frameworks for network architecture.
- Lead the design and implementation planning of: Spine leaf architectures, Core, aggregation, and access networks, SDN and network virtualization technologies, WAN, internet, and cloud connectivity, Network security zoning and segmentation, Disaster recovery and redundancy frameworks.
- Ensure network designs meet scalability, reliability, performance, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Provide technical leadership during project execution, testing, commissioning, and operational handover.
- Support budgeting, cost optimization, and lifecycle planning initiatives.
- Build and mentor high performing technical networking teams.
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in networking and digital infrastructure design.
- Minimum 7+ years in leadership roles managing large scale enterprise or hyperscale data center projects.
- Strong experience in: Data center networking, Cloud connectivity, SDN technologies, Enterprise network architecture, Telecom and ISP integration, Cybersecurity aligned network design.

Certifications (Preferred)
- CCIE / CCNP
