Role Overview
Lead irrigation planning, design strategy, standards, and technical assurance for Qiddiya's landscape and public realm portfolio.
Embed irrigation requirements from master planning through design development, procurement support, Stage Gate review, and handover readiness.
Align irrigation delivery with sustainability, water stewardship, horticultural performance, smart city integration, and long-term asset outcomes.
Strategic Planning and Policy
- Lead strategic irrigation planning and design in alignment with master development objectives, district strategies, water availability, sustainability, and operational needs.
- Maintain irrigation policies, standards, planning frameworks, design criteria, water budgets, hydro-zoning principles, technical guidelines, and compliance processes.
- Direct irrigation demand planning, treated sewage effluent use, water quality, salinity risk, leaching, drainage interfaces, water allocation, and smart irrigation strategy.
- Monitor applicable regulations, authority requirements, regional practices, international best practice, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities.
