- Ensure quality of trade product delivery in coordination with Operations and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with risk, business risk, compliance, and other relevant groups within Citi
- Appropriately assess risk in all business decisions, demonstrating keen consideration for the firm's reputation
- Attract, motivate, develop, and retain executive talent within the teams
Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in product management or a related field
- 8 10+ years of managerial experience, including leading multiple teams
- Proven experience managing across multi function or global business units
- Demonstrated experience managing within a large, complex, and matrixed organizational structure
- Superior analytical and credit skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong people management and business development skills
- Excellent product knowledge, particularly in trade products

Team/Role Overview
- The Core Trade Network organisation was created and formalised as part of the Citi re organisation and covers a range of Trade Services products, including Letters of Guarantee, Import/Export Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections.
- The successful candidate will lead and manage the Middle East & Africa Network team, responsible for the delivery of product expertise in the region.
- This role reports into the Global Core Trade & Productivity Network Head.
- This role is also expected to work with other Core Trade Network cluster heads, Core Trade pillars and functional partners in order to ensure pipeline management and growth with sales, ensure quality of trade product delivery with Operations and continued high level of client satisfaction.

- Coordinate product lines through all stages of their life cycle in collaboration with the broader Product Management team.
- Stakeholder Management & Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with risk, business risk, compliance, and other relevant groups within Citi.
Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in product management or a related field.
- 8 10+ years of managerial experience, including leading multiple teams.
- Proven experience managing across multi function or global business units.
- Demonstrated experience managing within a large, complex, and matrixed organizational structure.
- Practical experience across multiple business cycles.
- Proven ability to cover large, complex geographies or regions.
- Skills & Knowledge: Superior analytical and credit skills, coupled with extensive knowledge of Citigroup credit processes.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and internal/external negotiation skills.
- Strong people management and business development skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the industry, banking, and investment products.
- Excellent product knowledge, particularly in trade products, including structured trade products and large/complex transactions.
- Working knowledge of different systems, theories, and practices relevant to the function.
