Job Purpose
- Lead and oversee financial accounting, audit oversight, and forensic review activities across sports federations to ensure transparency, accuracy, and financial integrity.
Federations Accounting
- Establish and oversee a unified accounting framework for federations.
- Review monthly and annual federation financial statements.
- Monitor accounting entries, budget adherence, spending patterns, and financial controls.
- Support federations in resolving accounting discrepancies.
- Provide periodic financial analysis and insights to leadership.
Federations Financial Audit
- Lead planning and execution of financial audits for federations.
- Direct audit fieldwork, documentation, and evaluation of internal controls.
- Review audit findings to identify systemic issues and control weaknesses.
- Provide consolidated audit insights to leadership.
Federations Financial Forensics
- Direct forensic reviews and special investigations into suspected fraud, misconduct, and financial irregularities.
- Monitor financial data, transactions, contracts, and documentation to identify red flags.
- Develop evidence based findings and reports.
- Recommend strengthened financial controls and process improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Federation Coordination
- Serve as primary financial liaison between federations and SOPC.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, GRC, Procurement, and Internal Audit.
