- Conduct feasibility studies and market research to guide project scope, design, and delivery
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful and timely completion of venues
- Ensure all developments comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines
- Engage with stakeholders, including sports federations, event organizers, and community representatives to maximize venue utilization and relevance
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to communicate project progress, challenges, and opportunities
- Incorporate innovative technologies and designs to enhance venue functionality and spectator experience
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential sponsors, partners, and investors to support project funding and operations
- Monitor global trends in sports and event venue development and integrate best practices into Qiddiya projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in developing sports competition and event venues or large scale event facility projects
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong project management and budgeting expertise
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Knowledge of safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards in sports and event venue development
- Ability to foster partnerships with sports organizations, sponsors, and government bodies
