Overview

The Director of Commercial & Products will own the end-to-end commercial and product agenda of du Pay, combining strategic vision, product innovation, customer growth, monetization, and execution excellence.

This executive leader will be responsible for scaling existing businesses while launching new financial products and entering new customer segments.

The role requires a blend of fintech product expertise, strong commercial acumen, growth mindset, data-driven execution, and the ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-scaling environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Executive Committee to shape du Pay into a leading digital financial platform in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Commercial Growth:**
  • Lead strategy for acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization; identify new revenue opportunities and optimize key metrics (ARPU, CAC, LTV).
  • **Product Leadership:**
  • Own the roadmap across payments, remittance, lending, insurance, and SME solutions; launch customer-centric, scalable digital financial products.
  • **Partnerships:**
  • Build and manage strategic alliances with banks, fintechs, and ecosystem partners; structure commercial models and go-to-market initiatives.
  • **Leadership:**
  • Build and lead high-performing teams while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and execution excellence.
  • **Performance & Analytics:**
  • Leverage data insights to drive decision-making, optimize customer journeys, and track commercial performance.

Experience

  • 12–18+ years in fintech, digital banking, payments, or financial services
  • Proven track record in commercial strategy, product management, and scaling digital products
  • Experience in areas such as payments, lending, remittance, insurance, or SME financial services
  • GCC/UAE experience preferred

Skills

  • Strong commercial and P&L mindset
  • Deep understanding of fintech economics and customer monetization
  • Product innovation and digital experience expertise
  • Data-driven, strategic, and execution-focused
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Success Metrics

Revenue & EBITDA growth, customer acquisition and engagement, product adoption, successful product launches, and partnership-driven revenue.
