Role Overview

  • Group Digital Transformation Director reporting to Group Strategy Director.
  • Sector: Construction, Infrastructure & Industrial.
  • Location: Abu Dhabi.
  • Leading multi entity construction group seeking to modernise operating model, digitise core processes, and unlock value.

Key Responsibilities Strategic

  • Define and own the Group Digital Transformation Strategy and Roadmap.
  • Establish the vision and business case for transformation across subsidiaries and functions.
  • Identify emerging digital trends, tools, and operating model innovations.
  • Define and monitor transformation KPIs, ROI and value realisation.

Key Responsibilities Core

  • Lead business process re engineering (BPR) and operating model transformation initiatives.
  • Establish and govern a Group transformation portfolio.
  • Partner with Group IT to translate business needs into technology enablement.
  • Ensure transformation initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities People & Leadership

  • Drive change management and adoption.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and change agent to Subsidiary CEOs, Group Directors and functional leaders.
  • Build coalitions across a complex, multi entity organisation.
  • Coach and influence senior stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Strategy or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree (MBA / Digital Transformation / Strategy) strongly preferred.
  • 15 18 years of progressive experience in digital transformation, business transformation, strategy or large scale change initiatives.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership or director level role.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise wide transformation programmes within large, complex or multi entity organisations (construction, infrastructure, industrial, or holding groups preferred).
  • Enterprise digital transformation leadership; business process re engineering and operating model design.
  • Change management, stakeholder engagement and executive communication and influence.
  • Portfolio and programme governance, data driven decision making, risk management and value realisation.
