- Develop design briefs that suit the client’s purpose
- Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts and strategy
- Prepare work by gathering information and materials
- Plan concept by studying information and materials
- Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Meet work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements
