Support product development and platform automation by designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure solutions.
Bridge development and operations through CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, standardized delivery, visibility, and auditability.
Client and platform delivery
- Gather platform requirements from clients and stakeholders and understand digital transformation and automation goals.
- Deliver presentations and documentation covering agent pools, environment provisioning, and enterprise pipeline design.
- Create reusable Azure DevOps pipeline templates and secure shared libraries for product and engineering teams.
CI/CD and systems
- Manage complex branching strategies, optimize build runner performance, and maintain Linux-based runner systems.
- Manage third-party libraries and integrate Fortify SCA and automated testing frameworks into secure application pipelines.
- Conduct workshops enabling GitOps delivery and workload promotion through Argo CD to OpenShift or Kubernetes.
Monitoring and release
- Participate in Agile development and release processes by integrating monitoring hooks and production deployment patterns.
- Use AppDynamics, BMC, or Azure Monitoring to support production deployment visibility and application profiling.
- Stay current with containerization, automation workflows, and infrastructure delivery mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 6–10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or enterprise build and release automation.
- Proven hands-on production delivery experience, including scaling live environments.
- Strong experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps Server, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Experience with GitOps, Argo CD, Fortify SCA, HashiCorp Vault, secure artifacts, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Government, regulated, or complex enterprise experience is highly preferred.
- Travel is required for client-facing activities.
