About the Role
Haystack is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a partner to design and support secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using SAFe Agile SecDevOps. You will drive automation, CI/CD, and work with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using a SAFe Agile SecDevOps Scrum process
- Apply DevOps best practices and cloud native design principles, leveraging AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Drive automation and continuous delivery across environments
- Hands on work with automated testing, deployments, and infrastructure monitoring
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, risk mitigation, and collaborative solution design
- Contribute to cross functional flexibility across systems engineering, software development, testing, and security
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in managing source code with GIT, including pull requests and branching strategies
- Expertise in designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, including services like EC2, ECR, ECS, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM
- Strong proficiency in IaC using Terraform and Ansible
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Proven ability to write and maintain scripts and automation tools (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Familiarity with containerisation using Docker and orchestration best practices
- Knowledge of secrets management and access control using tools like Vault and IAM policies
- Strong understanding of AWS security best practices (encryption, patching, monitoring, least privilege access, compliance)
