Role overview
Build, manage, and optimize test infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Support reliable, scalable, and production-like environments for release validation and hardening.
Infrastructure management
- Manage VMware-based virtual machine environments for on-premises deployments.
- Provision and manage AWS EC2 instances, VPCs, Elastic IPs, and security groups.
- Provision and maintain stable, reproducible test environments aligned with production configurations.
Automation and testing
- Design and maintain Terraform infrastructure and automation workflows for environment provisioning and teardown.
- Execute functional, integration, and system-level testing.
- Integrate test workflows into Jenkins pipelines and collaborate on troubleshooting and test coverage.
Optimization
- Analyze infrastructure utilization across on-premises and AWS environments.
- Rightsize resources to balance performance and cost.
- Improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of test systems and DevOps processes.
