Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the organization's DevOps architecture, standards, and best practices
- Develop CI/CD strategies that improve software delivery speed, quality, and reliability
- Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and cloud deployment models
- Design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments
- Establish reusable infrastructure templates and platform engineering standards
- Define release management processes, deployment governance, and rollback strategies
- Implement DevSecOps practices, including secrets management, access controls, and security compliance
- Establish monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting frameworks
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, or related role
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Hands on experience with DevSecOps practices, deployment automation, and release management
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Professional cloud or DevOps certifications are an added advantage

Job Summary
- DigitalQatalyst is seeking a highly skilled and forward thinking DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our DevOps function.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the organization's DevOps architecture, standards, and best practices.
- Develop CI/CD strategies that improve software delivery speed, quality, and reliability.
- Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and cloud deployment models.
- Design secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.
- Establish reusable infrastructure templates and platform engineering standards.
- Drive infrastructure automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Define release management processes, deployment governance, and rollback strategies.
- Implement DevSecOps practices, including secrets management, access controls, and security compliance.
- Ensure consistent deployment standards across environments.
- Establish monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting frameworks.
- Develop backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Introduce AI enabled automation to improve operational efficiency and incident resolution.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, SRE, or a related role.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Hands on experience with DevSecOps practices, deployment automation, and release management.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Professional cloud or DevOps certifications are an added advantage.
