Responsibilities
- Deliver and plan sessions for Foundation, Development, and Potential Squads
- Track swimmer attendance, set individual targets, and ensure training evolves
- Promote participation in competitions and attend events locally and overseas
- Recruit swimmers and talent identify from Learn to Swim program
- Maintain proactive communication with swimmers, parents, and staff
- Adhere to child protection policies and health and safety protocols
- Complete administration tasks including booking and competition entries
- Represent Hamilton Aquatics at competitions, galas, and events
- Organise and deliver clinics with local schools
Requirements
- UKCC Level 2 Coaching in Aquatics (or equivalent)
- Lifeguard Qualification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience coaching young swimmers, particularly at Learn to Train and Train to Train stages
- Proven track record developing age group swimmers
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of swim stroke mechanics and training methodologies
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Proficiency in IT and video analysis tools

Overview
- Hamilton Aquatics is seeking a dedicated Development Coach to join our dynamic coaching team in Abu Dhabi. This role is instrumental in shaping young swimmers into competitive athletes while fostering a love for the sport.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and plan sessions for Foundation, Development, and Potential Squads
- Track swimmer attendance, set individual targets, and ensure training evolves
- Promote participation in competitions and attend events locally and overseas

- Report to Head of Development daily and attend weekly coach meetings
- Adhere to child protection policies and health and safety protocols
- Manage site responsibilities including pool safety checks and first aid
- Complete administration tasks including booking and competition entries
- Represent Hamilton Aquatics at competitions, galas, and events
- Organise and deliver clinics with local schools
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- UKCC Level 2 Coaching in Aquatics (or equivalent)
